Trust centre
LTD Turnaround is an independent UK information service for company directors in financial difficulty, operated by Best Business Loans Ltd (Companies House 16833937). This page sets out, in plain terms, how we use AI, how we check facts, how we fix mistakes, how to complain, and how we look after your data. Everything we publish is general information only. It is not regulated insolvency, legal or financial advice, and it does not replace a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner or solicitor advising on your own situation.
How we use AI
We use modern AI tools to help with research and first drafts, the same way we use a spellchecker or a spreadsheet. They make us faster. They do not make our judgements and they do not have the final word.
- A named human reviews and signs off every published page. AI never publishes on its own.
- AI does not give regulated advice. Our content is general information about company insolvency and business rescue. It is not regulated insolvency advice, legal advice or financial advice, and it does not replace a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner or solicitor advising on your own circumstances.
- We do not publish fabricated case outcomes, figures or reviews. Company numbers, official statistics and legal tests are taken from primary UK sources or left out. We never invent a rescue result, a saving or a success story.
- AI does not decide who we introduce you to. Any introduction to a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner is handled by a person, and any advice on your situation is given by that regulated practitioner, not by us and not by a tool.
- Personal data handled by AI tools is processed in line with our privacy notice and UK data protection law.
Our use of AI is guided by UK data protection law and the ICO's guidance on AI and automated decision-making. Where AI could affect a person, a human stays in the loop, in line with the direction of AI regulation such as the EU AI Act.
Named authorship and editorial standards
Every page is written or reviewed by our editorial desk and dated. We publish independent information, not paid-for placements, and any sponsored material would be labelled as such with the sponsor named. Insolvency is a regulated, high-stakes area, so we hold our content to a high standard and ground it in primary UK sources. The full detail is in our editorial policy, and you can see the people behind the content on our authors page.
Fact-checking and sources
Before a page goes live, factual claims are checked against primary sources, not other websites. In practice that means:
- Insolvency law and statutory tests taken from the Insolvency Act 1986 and related legislation.
- Official procedures and statistics taken from the Insolvency Service and gov.uk.
- Company and director records checked against Companies House and formal notices against The Gazette.
- Tax and debt guidance taken from HMRC.
Where a figure is the most recent published series rather than a live feed, we say so. How our data assets and calculators are built is set out in our methodology.
Corrections
If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Use our contact page with the page address and what is incorrect. We respond promptly. Material corrections are made and noted on the page so the change is visible.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with our website, our content or the way an introduction was handled, we want to hear about it. Please raise it through our contact page with the details and what you would like us to do. We acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to resolve them fairly and quickly.
We are an information and introduction service, not a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. A complaint about the advice or regulated work of a practitioner we introduced you to should also be raised with that practitioner and their regulatory body, as they are responsible for their own regulated work. Our full process is on the complaints page.
Your data
If you ask us to arrange a call, we only pass your details to a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner so they can help you, and we tell you before we do. What we hold, why, and how to ask us to delete it is set out in our privacy notice and cookie policy.
