Accessibility
We want LTD Turnaround to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We build the site with clear structure, readable text, sufficient colour contrast, keyboard-friendly controls and plain language, because the people who need this site are often stressed and pressed for time. We test our tools to work without requiring an account or email. Accessibility is never finished, so if you find something hard to use, please tell us through the contact page and we will do our best to fix it.
What we test on every release
- Colour contrast. Every release is checked against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements with an automated rendered-page check before it goes live; a failing build is not published.
- Screen-reader structure. One H1 per page, meaningful heading order, labelled form fields and descriptive link text. An automated accessibility-tree check flags unlabelled buttons, unlabelled inputs and icon-only links.
- Keyboard access. The navigation, situation picker, calculators and the get-help form work with a keyboard alone, with visible focus outlines.
- No script dependence for the essentials. Navigation renders in full without JavaScript, and the multi-step form falls back to a single flat form that still submits.
How the site is written
- Plain language. Insolvency is full of jargon, so we define terms where they first appear and keep a plain-English glossary.
- Readable text. Body text is at least 16px equivalent with generous line spacing, and the layout works from small phones upward without sideways scrolling.
- Touch targets. Buttons and options are sized for touch.
- Reduced motion. Animation is minimal and respects the reduce-motion setting on your device.
Known limitations
Official sources we link to, including The Gazette, Companies House and gov.uk, have their own accessibility standards which we do not control. Where an official document matters to a guide, we summarise its key points in the page itself rather than relying on the download.
Report a problem
If any part of this site is hard to use with your equipment or software, tell us via the contact page and include the page address and what went wrong. Accessibility reports are treated as defects, not feedback: we prioritise fixing genuine barriers. If you feel a report has not been handled properly, our complaints page explains what to do next.
